The Team Files app needs access to an external URL to work correctly. If your server has restrictive configurations, you’ll need to add the following URL to the whitelist:
https://confluence.teamfiles.app
This is essential to enable the Microsoft 365 Web apps, allowing you to preview and edit documents in Confluence with the Team Files app.
Add Team Files allowed URL to the whitelist
To add a URL to the whitelist:
Open the “Administration” menu (cogwheel icon on the top right corner);
Select “General Configuration”;
Click “Whitelist” from the sidebar (in the Users & Security section);
Enter the URL “XXX“ in the Expression field;
Choose “xxx” in the Type of expression dropdown;
Choose Allow Incoming (needed?).
Choose Add.
The required URL appears in the whitelist.
