Broken attachments after moving an issue or page

Moving a Jira issue from project A to project B currently breaks the Team Files attachments. The same happens for Confluence pages. Moving a page from Space A to Space B breaks the Team Files macros.

Why does this happen?

The Team Files app uses the issue key and space ID to display your attachments where you want them correctly. When you move an issue to a different project or a page to another space, the issue key and the space ID change. Since the Team Files doesn’t recognize the new values, the attachments and macros are broken.

How to fix it?

Currently, the only solution is to remove the broken attachments and re-attach the files you need in your issue and page. We have a feature in our public roadmap to address this issue that you can follow to get updates.
